Rejecting the Constitutional Declaration and the Revolution Protection law that equalizes the murder and the martyr

The Egyptian Democratic Labour Congress & The Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services
 25- November- 2012
The last three days have witnessed brutal violence against demonstrators who have organized marches on 19- November, 2012 to celebrate the anniversary of Mohamed Mahmoud Street incidents. The demonstrators have called for achieving the revolution objectives and attaining the martyrs' rights.  Meanwhile, the first martyr (Gaber Salah) has been killed during the rule of president; Mohamed Morsi.
Instead of interfering to prevent blood and stop the old regime scenes, the president has declared a constitutional declaration whereby he made himself a Semi-God. Morsi has even immunized his decisions taken since 30, June claiming that he is above the law. The president has not only control the executive and legislative authorities, but he also blocks the judicial power. According to the constitutional declaration, no judicial body is entitled to dissolve the Shura Council (upper house) or the Constituent Assembly, knowing that both entities are dominated by the (Moslem Brothers). Moreover, the president has decided to appoint a new General Prosecutor, without even consulting the concerned stakeholders; the judges, who represent the last shelter to the Egyptians against the ruling tyranny.
Claiming he is protecting the revolution, the president has introduced the "Revolution Protection" law that is composed of six articles. The second article stipulates establishing a special prosecution entitled to arrest detainees for six months (as per article no. five.  Article no. four defines crimes and unsurprisingly equalizes between murders martyrs. The article denotes the newly appointed Public Prosecutor to detain people for up to six months in the name of “protecting the revolution,” while they are being investigated on charges related to provisions of the Penal Code on press and media offences, organizing protests, worker’s strikes and “thuggery".
The president had not only been satisfied with the presence of such crimes in the Egyptian penal code, but also he enables the General Prosecutor the right to detain labors for six month before going to courts. He had made no difference between labors who practice their rights in strikes and the corrupted criminals of the old regime who have murdered the martyrs.
The Egyptian Democratic Labour Congress & The Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services assert that the Egyptian labours who have managed to gain their rights and overthrown tyrannical Mubarak, refuse the constitutional declaration  and the Revolution Protection law. They confirm that the Egyptian revolution is owned by the great Egyptians including labours and it is not owned by a certial political sect that does not know about governing but oppression.
The Egyptian Democratic Labour Congress & The Center for Trade Union & Workers' Services call the 320  independent unions to participate in the Tuesday demonstration in all the liberty squares to call for the fall of the constitutional declaration  and the Revolution Protection law.
