إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

Verse 5:

There is no one else we worship and there is no one else we depend on.

الآية 6:

اهدِنَــــا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ

Verse 6:

Guide us the right path

الآية 7:

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ غَيرِ المَغضُوبِ عَلَيهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ

Verse 7:

The path of whom YOU blessed is different than (the path of) those who incurred anger and those who are misguided.

Verse 1:

Alef Laam Meem

الآية 2:

ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

Verse 2:

That book (the Quran) has no doubtful things and a guide for the righteous.

الآية 3:

الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ

Verse 3:

Those who believe in the unseen, do the prayers and from whatever WE have blessed them with, they spend (in good).

 الآية 4:

والَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ

Verse 4:

And those who believe in what is sent down to you and what was sent down before you and about the Hereafter, they are sure

الآية 5:

أُوْلَـئِكَ عَلَى هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Verse 5:

These are guided by their lord and these are the successful

الآية 6:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ 

Verse 6:

Those who rejected (faith), it is same to them whether you have warned them or not, they will not believe

الآية 7:

خَتَمَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عظِيمٌ

Verse 7:

GOD has sealed upon their hearts and their hearings, and on their sight there is a cover, and they have a great punishment.

الآية 8:

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

Verse 8:

And from people are those who say: ((we believed in GOD and in the hereafter)), but they are not believers (actually)

الآية 9:

يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُم وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Verse 9:

They cheat GOD and those who believed but they cheat themselves only, and they don't feel.

الآية 10:

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ

Verse 10:

In their hearts there is a disease so GOD has increased their disease, and for them a great punishment for what they used to lie.

الآية 11:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الأَرْضِ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ

Verse 11:

And if they were told: ((do not mischief in the land)) they would have said: ((but we are reformers

الآية 12:

أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ

Verse 12:

Although they are the mischeifers but they don't feel

الآية 13:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُواْ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاء أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاء وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَعْلَمُونَ

Verse 13:

And if they were told :((Believe as the people believed)), they would have said : ((do we believe as the stupids believed)), although they are the stupids but they don't know

الآية 14:

وَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْاْ إِلَى شَيَاطِينِهِمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّا مَعَكْمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِؤُونَ

Verse 14:

And if they came across those who believed they would have said : ((we believed)), and if they became alone with their devils they would have said : ((we are with you but we were teasing

الآية 15:

اللّهُ يَسْتَهْزِىءُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

Verse 15:

GOD teases them and prolong them in their transgression, wandering blindly

الآية  16:

أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرُوُاْ الضَّلاَلَةَ بِالْهُدَى فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ

Verse 16:

These are those who bought straying for guidence, but their trade didn't win and they weren't guided.

الآية 17:

مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَاراً فَلَمَّا أَضَاءتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ

Verse 17:

These are like this who made a fire and when it lightened what is around him, GOD has taken their light and left them in darkness (making them) not  seeing .

الآية 18:

صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لاَ يَرْجِعُونَ

Verse 18:

deaf, dump,blind as they don't revert

الآية 19:

أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاء فِيهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ وَرَعْدٌ وَبَرْقٌ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصْابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِم مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ واللّهُ مُحِيطٌ بِالْكافِرِينَ

Verse 19:

Or like a cloud from the sky containing darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears from the striking of the lightning as they are afraid of death and GOD is aware of the rejecters.

الآية 20:

يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاء لَهُم مَّشَوْاْ فِيهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُواْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّه عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ  

Verse 20:

The lightning is nearly snatching their sight. Whenever it illuminates for them they walked in and if it became dark on them they stood, and if GOD willed he would have taken their hearinig and their sight. GOD is capable of  everything.
