Happy Holidays from Citizens for Global Solutions
Happy Holidays from Citizens for Global Solutions
Dear Friend,
I want to take this time to wish you and your family a happy holidays and a wonderful 2010. I am so very grateful for all the support that you have shown Citizens for Global Solutions over the year. As I reflect on all of our successes - from paying UN dues to showing up at the ICC - I know they were only possible with your support.
During this holiday season we invite you to celebrate with us the values that bind us together by honoring Globalfamily Day on New Year's Day. What unites us as true citizens for global solutions is our strong belief that we are all, everywhere in the world, connected as members of the Global Family. Holidays are society's most powerful tool to inspire and unify individual groups. Globalfamily Day (One Day in Peace) was conceived by children and co-founded by author Linda Grover and Congressman John Conyers Jr., as a day to share food with friends (especially the needy), make personal pledges of non-violence, ring bells and spread the message of peace and sharing.
So please join me in celebrating January 1st as a day of peace and again, thank you for all your support over the year. We look forward to more victories in 2010!
In Peace,
Don
