The History Department at James Madison University invites applications for
a tenure track position in World History, with specialization in the early
Islamic world and the ability to teach the World History survey and Research
Methods, at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin mid-August 2010.
Candidates must have the Ph.D. and should have teaching experience.

teaching philosophy and/or sample syllabi, a writing sample of ~20 pages,
