Egyptian Security Abuse with students in Egyptian university

The University Guard Police, which is a branch of Security Forces under the Ministry of Interior, arrested today in Alexandria;three students from the 6 April Youth: Ahmed Thabet, Mohamed Morsy, Ahmed Fahmy, during the distribution of the statement "You are the solution" and were detained inside the guard's office, who had confiscated their identity cards.

This comes within the framework of the campaign "You are the solution," launched by April 6 Youth Movement inside the Egyptian universities, which aims to educate youth in Egyptian Universities politics, and encourage them to participate and collect signatures on a statement demanding political reform that allows free and fair elections, and make them

aware of the dangers of the continuation of the regime which caused the rise of prices and sabotaged, among others, both of the health sector and education.

Furthermore, the University Police attacked two students from April 6 Youth Movement inside the campus of the University of Ain Shams, in Cairo, to break up a an exhibition showing electoral fraud and corruption.

within the framework of the campaign "You are the solution," waged by April 6 students in all universities in Egypt, before the attack on the students of April 6 Youth by the university police forces then they arrested two students:
(Moataz Bellah Mohamed (April 6 youth) and the activist Ahmed Samir Abdel-Hay) after beating them up , they were taken to a police station to face charges, and were not released till now.

It is worth mentioning that the student, "Ahmed Samir Abdel-Hay," the above-mentioned has been held by the university police yesterday for more than two hours, during which he has been beaten and insulted, and then transferred to the Legal Affairs

Also, student "Moataz Bellah Mohamed" has also been detained in the first school week and was also transferred to the Legal Affairs where he was questioned for 4 hours.

The University Police also broke up an exhibition launched by April 6 Youth Movement four days ago and assaulted four students and attacked the student, Ms. Manar Shokry, savagely.

Also students were attacked in Mansoura and Fayoum Universities while distributing the statement demanding reform.

We appeal to all human rights organizations and political activists all over the world to show solidarity, the Egyptian government doesn't allow any students' activities and deal with them in a very cruel and illegal way.

We demand solidarity from anyone who can help even by sharing and exposing info on how the Egyptian regime deals with students in universities, who are just trying to express their opinion by peaceful means.
