Presidential Council to stop Mubarak
1) We, the Egyptian American community, call upon Mr. Hosny Mubarak to step down immediately to spare further bloodshed. The January 25th Egyptian uprising and its aftermath have stripped him, his Party, and the two judiciary bodies that resulted from the recent rigged elections from any future legitimacy.

2) We further demand the Egyptian people and their opposition leaders to agree that a new Presidential Council be appointed and take the oath immediately to manage the country during a six months transitional period. The Council will comprise of three distinguished members:
· General Omar Soliman
· Mr. Amr Mousa, and
· Dr. Mohamed ElBaradie
3) The main mandate of the Presidential Council is to ensure a peaceful and efficient transition of power, to plan and implement free and fair elections, and to oversee the development and approval of a new modern constitution for Egypt.
4) We urge the new Presidential Council to fire the current government and appoint Dr. Kamal Al-Ganzoury as a transitional Prime Minster. His mandate should be to form a cabinet that include all representative forces of the Egyptian society to implement a peaceful transition..
5) We urge the US government to support this doable scenario and call upon all the friends and neighbors of Egypt, including Israel, to endorse this approach to resolve the current crisis.
