Prayers in Other Tongues

Published in August 26, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I don't approve of your view about praying in other tongues instead of the Arabic tongue; the Quran is in Arabic; non-Arabs have to memorize or learn by heart some Quranic verses to use them within their daily prayers, and this is not difficult, I suppose .........  … Thank you …

Answer:

We insist on asserting our view that prayers are deemed acceptable in any of the human tongues; concentration, piety, and reverence are what matter most, especially adherence to piety all day long. This can be felt, experienced, applied by all people regardless of their different tongues; even the mute and deaf persons pray in silence with their hearts/souls without uttering any words in any tongue. This means that the Arabic tongue is never necessary within prayers.

Homosexuality, Again!

Published in August 26, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I am a 24-year-old married young man; I have two children; when I was less than 16 years old, my maternal uncle deceived me and managed to convince me to have sex with him (I played the 'passive' role and he played the 'active' role). I keep fantasizing about men though I had no other sexual experiences with any men; my father is aware of my problem; he advised me to get married so that I stop desiring men sexually. For the first 3 month of my marriage, I did not have the desire and the ability to have sex with my wife; I never managed to maintain an erection; she was unhappy; at first, she and I talked about divorce; she is unaware of my desire for men, but she thought that I do not love her or that I dislike her body; later on, using Viagra, I managed to impregnate my wife; I never sleep with her without swallowing Viagra pills; I do not enjoy having sex with her; she is now busy with our two kids and her demanding sex became less frequent, to everyone's relief. I keep thinking of male bodies and I have my fantasies of men raping me. Of course, because of my sexual frustration, I am addicted to watching gay-porn movies.......I'm supposed to complete my studies abroad in a European country; I do not want to engage into any sexual activities there; I want to resist all temptation.......I feel so guilty and the burden of sin is too much for me; I should like to repent, but how?! My father is deceived as he thinks that I am 'miraculously cured' after I have become a husband of a very pretty wife and a father of two kids. Would you please give me any pieces of advice?!  … Thank you …

About the Quranic Verse 68:13

Published in August 26, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the Quranic verse 68:13? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And do not obey any vile swearer. Backbiter, spreader of slander. Preventer of good, transgressor, sinner. Rude and evil besides. Just because he has money and children. When Our Verses are read to him, he says, “Myths of the ancients!”" (68:10-15). The underlined part is the verse 68:13; it refers to insolent, vile people among the Qorayish disbelievers who verbally insult others and seek evildoing and prevent good deeds. Middle-Ages authors of the Muhammadans in their books of 'interpretation' or 'exegeses' assume that the verse 68:13 refers to a certain Meccan rich man who was a natural son; this is utter nonsense.

Divisions of Muslims!

Published in August 27, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … Why are the Muslims are divided into sects and doctrines? What is the solution to make them discard their differences and disputes? … Thank you …

Answer:

They are not Muslims/monotheists; rather, they are polytheistic Muhammadans. Their divisions are the direct result of their disobeying the Lord God's Word, the Holy Quran, and their obeying Satan and his devilish revelations. Satan deceives misguided human beings by the possessions of this transient world to make them heedless and forgetful; they forget God and the Hereafter. Obeying Satan includes to believe in devilish narratives/hadiths (authored by human devils whose souls are controlled by Satan) instead of the Lord God's Word. This is how the terrestrial religions of the Muhammadans have emerged. This is how Muhammad's companions fell into the trap of the grave sin known as the Arab conquests: they were tyrants who enslaved, massacred, looted, etc. and ascribed their grave sins and heinous crimes to the name of Islam: the Lord God's Religion. Thus, they intentionally rejected and contradicted the Quran; the Arab conquests and the major Arab civil wars have resulted in the emergence of the three earthly/terrestrial religions of the Muhammadans. The only solution is to return to the Quran as the Criterion and the Only Source of Islam. This is what we do here on our Quranism website. Names of the Quranic Chapters

Published in August 27, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … In the books of the Middle-Ages authors of the Muhammadans, we find that many Quranic Chapters have different names...How could I know that the current names of the Quranic Chapters in today's copies of the Quran are right?! Who has named them, anyway? Are such names inspired by God or not?! Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, the writings of the Middle-Ages Muhammadans about the Quran have nothing to do with Islam; their writings undermine and cast doubt on the Quran. The Lord God protects and preserves the Quranic text Himself; sometimes, He uses His enemies in this mission. We tend to think that Muhammad, when he wrote down the entire Quranic Revelation by his own hand, was the one who gave the Quranic Chapters their names. We refer you, for further details, to our two articles, in English, found on the following links:

The Remaining: Al-Baqi

Published in August 28, 2019

Question: … Dear Dr. Mansour, … Is the term (Al-Baqi) one of the Holy Names/Epithets of the Lord God? I cannot find it in the Quran ... Many people in Egypt are named (Abdel-Baqi), as you know … Thank you in advance …

Answer:

It is never one of the Holy Names/Epithets of the Lord God; one cannot describe Allah as (the remaining) because He is above time; He is the Creator of time; Allah describes Himself here: "He is the First and the Last, and the Outer and the Inner, and He has knowledge of all things." (57:3).

Demolishing Some Mosques

Published in August 28, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  Are you for or against the recent policy of the Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, of demolishing some mosques as means to destroy the roots of Wahabi terrorism? Is this effective or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

No; the houses of worship known as (mosques) are neutral tools which can be used either to spread guidance, enlightenment, reform, and the higher Quranic values of Islam, or to spread aggression, violence, destruction, and terrorism like most harmful mosques. Thus, the elimination of the Wahabi terrorism does not require demolishing any mosques or building a grand-mosque (named Al-Fattah Al-Aleem, to remind people of the first-name of the Egyptian President) in the new administrative capital inside Egypt. Rather, it requires the spread of the culture of religious reform and enlightenment, through Quranism as the Only True Islam, and to introduce the much-needed reform of religious discourse in Egypt announced by Al-Sisi many times; so far, he has failed to achieve this.

About the Quranic Verse 4:157

Published in August 29, 2019

Question:  … Dear Sir, …  The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "...In fact, they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them as if they did..." (4:157); why does the word (kill) precede the word (crucify) in this verse? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

There is not any significance; both verbs have the same meaning of putting someone to death; in the verse 4:157, the Lord God refutes the myth propagated by some of the People of the Book that Jesus was killed or put to death by being crucified; that is all.

The Myth of the So-Called 'Just' Tyrants!

Published in August 29, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … Some philosophers have advocated the theory of 'just' tyrants who impose justice; is this OK as per Quranism? How come that tyranny and justice would be combined? The tyranny of Saddam Hussein in Iraq never produced any measure of justice, as you know; yet, the chaos and wreaking havoc in the Arab world in the so-called 'Arab Spring' made some Iraqis yearn to the era of Saddam Hussein; many people assume that the New World Order (NWO) of the Freemasons is behind redrawing the world-map within the so-called “constructive chaos” in the Middle-East. What is your own opinion? … Thank you …

Answer:

We do not believe in conspiracy theories. There is nothing called ('just' tyrants); political and religious tyranny is the worst type of grave injustices. Islam (i.e., the Quran) urges people to adhere to direct democracy and human rights; this is proven in countless Quranist articles and fatwas of ours. All peaceful citizens are equal in a Quran-based, secular country, regardless of their faiths and denominations. Religious and political tyranny is prohibited in Islam; the self-deified Moses' Pharaoh is the model whose footsteps are followed by enthroned tyrants in all eras. We refer you to our research about the tyrannical ruler Ahmad Ibn Tulun who founded the dynasty of Tulunids in Egypt; he failed to apply the strange notion of a 'just' tyrant. When the fair and just Umayyad caliph Omar Ibn Abdul-Aziz (who ruled only for two years) tried to resist/stop the tyranny imposed by his Umayyad household within the era when tyranny was the dominant culture, his household members poisoned him as they felt that his justice will ruin their firmly established tyranny which maintained their dynasty and its power and authority. The grey area between tyranny and democracy is called the democratic transition; it takes years, decades, or centuries to be achieved as per each particular case. This entails establishing the culture of democracy first within all aspects of life; Arab citizens must understand that rulers can be impeached and corruption can be removed. It took the West centuries after the Magna Carta to establish democracy; many international, regional, and local wars broke out, and the West waited for the collapse of Nazism, fascism, and communism to establish real democracy in many of its regions. Sadly, after the ouster of many Arab tyrannical rulers, chaos spread as people got used to the culture of tyranny, enslavement, and corruption. Chaos reigns in Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. This may occur to Algeria and Egypt one day (may the Lord God protect our original homeland: Egypt) despite the military regimes there; this must occur in the KSA (dominated by Wahabi tyrants) sooner than we think. We surmise that the Muhammadans need at least five decades until democratic transition takes place within religious, political, and legislative reforms. Sadly, in the process, more bloodbaths may occur and more wars may break out.

About the Quranic Verse 8:38

Published in August 30, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … In 8:38, would God forgive the disbelieving polytheists only for stopping their aggression/violence? What about their paganism/polytheism in terms of corrupt faiths inside their hearts? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "Say to those who disbelieve: if they refrain, their past will be forgiven. But if they persist - the practice of the ancients has passed away." (8:38); of course, the verb (refrain) here does not specify would they must stop; hence, their being pardoned is linked to stopping both aggression and polytheism; thus, the Lord God will accept their sincere repentance. The verb (refrain) in 5:73 is about rejecting a corrupt, polytheistic notion: "They disbelieve those who say, “God is the third of three.” But there is no deity except the One God. If they do not refrain from what they say, a painful torment will befall those among them who disbelieve." (5:73).

The Quran and the Sound Heart

Published in August 30, 2019

Question: …  Dear Sir, …  Let me begin by apologizing to you for my articles (published in some websites that attack Quranists and Quranism) which criticize some of your ideas; Sufi myths were dominating my mind for many years; I am now trying to return to True Islam: the Quran. I am now re-reading your entire archive of writings with a new eye and a fresh mind ...... I desire to ask you about something; some history books about Egypt in the Mameluke Era assert the story of a crippled Coptic Christian woman who saw Prophet Muhammad in a dream and he cured her; as a result, she converted to Islam along with many Copts. As a historian, do you think that this story is true or false? Any ideas?  …  Thank you …

Answer:

It is not important that you apologize to our person; what matters now is your fate in the Hereafter; you must purify your soul from all polytheistic Sufi notions and stop deifying things and mortals in order to be a true monotheistic Quranist Muslim. The story you ask about is a false one; any accounts/narratives of miracles by Sufis and Coptic Orthodox Christians (and their likes) are mere falsehoods. Many polytheists who deify 'saints' and/or prophets vied for inventing such stories of the so-called miracles. Such myths have nothing to do with Islam. Polytheists listen and believe in such myths; the Lord God describes them as listeners to lies; see 5:42. Their stance belies their rejection of the Last Day and the Lord God's Word: the Quran; they incline to books of myths and falsehoods: "So that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may incline to it, and be content with it, and that they may perpetrate whatever they perpetrate." (6:113). To continue believing in Sufi myths and to die within such polytheism means Hell forever. The Light of Guidance of the Quranic Verses will never touch your heart/soul as long as you believe in myths of the terrestrial religions. We encourage you to go on with reading our entire archive within a critical mind so that you choose your path in life.

This Does NOT Pertain to Islam

Published in August 31, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … Is it OK within Islam that I, along with a group of other men, read the Quran at home or at the graveyard of our family to make the dead get the reward of it? You know that in rural areas in Egypt, this happens a lot. Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

This practice does not pertain to Islam at all; the book of deeds of any dead person is closed forever and no-one can add anything to it.

About Synonymous Terms in the Quran

Published in August 31, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … We read in the Quran, twice, that the Lord Allah has commanded Prophet Muhammad to avoid the polytheists and the ignorant ones; yet, we do not see any command about avoiding disbelievers; why? Is there a difference? Any thoughts? …  Thank you …

Answer:

You seem to forget that the following words are synonymous in the Quranic text: the disbelievers, the polytheists, the ignorant ones, the criminals, the sinful ones, and the sinners.

Al-Ghadeer Incident?!

Published in September 2, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … You know about the erudite sheikh Hassan Farhan Al-Maliki who is currently incarcerated in a Saudi prison ... I read one of his books which contains historical evidence regarding the Al-Ghadeer incident (in the Shiite history), proving that it's true; it's when Prophet Muhammad chose Ali Ibn Abou Talib, his daughter's husband and his paternal uncle's son, as an imam for all Muslims. Of course, neither Al-Maliki nor myself are Shiites; I'm a Quranist and I've rejected the Sunnite religion of Satan. Al-Maliki is a great historian; he proves that this Al-Ghadeer-incident account came down from Sunnite and Shiite narrators; a mosque near Yathreb is named Al-Ghadeer, you know; what do you think? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, as a historian, we assert here that the so-called Al-Ghadeer incident is a bad Shiite fabrication which has nothing to do with Muhammad. Our expertise as a historian is proven through our writings since 1980 until now, published on our website, where we provide historical facts which were less known to most people, based on our Quranist research and our historical research. Of course, we admire Mr. Al-Maliki who deserves our respect for his courage to face the tyrannical Al-Saud criminals; may the Lord God help him during his incarceration and help him to get released soon.

Unity of Action and Fatalism!

Published in September 2, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  …  I understood from your great writings that the Sufi notion of unity of action (i.e., actions of the human and non-human creatures are those of God) is sheer polytheism/disbelief and that fatalism (advocated by the Umayyads) is against Islam because human beings are created as free agents who bear responsibility for their choices and deeds. Yet, I've recently read Sufi books out of curiosity; the authors provide 'proofs' about unity of action and fatalism; I feel confused! Is the Devil trying to mislead me?! I feel I tend to believe in both notions! I cannot decide if both notions are right or wrong! The inner struggle inside my mind is killing me! Any advice?! … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, these are devilish thoughts; you have to choose willingly to reject or to believe in certain ideas. Preordained fates which lie outside the circle of human action is not part of one's responsibility on the Last Day; you are responsible for your choices/deeds and (lack of) faith. Man is a free agent, even if Sufis do not like it; they hate and reject the Quran, anyway. To dissolve all boundaries between the Creator and His creatures is utter polytheism; this is very clear, we suppose. Fatalism (i.e., the idea that people's deeds are not chosen but imposed by Fate preordained by the Lord God) has nothing to do with Islam; this notion is against the Divine Justice of the Lord God and against the Day of Judgment. Those who believe in fatalism accuse the Lord God of being unjust; why would Fate force people to commit sins and then God would punish them in Hell forever?! This is illogical; you should side only with Quranism; the Quran is the Only Source of Islam. You must seek refuge in the Omnipotent Lord God against Satan the outcast so that no devilish thoughts would dominate your mind.

Painful Torment as per the Quranic Verse 9:74

Published in September 3, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … We find in the Quranic verse 9:74 a reference to the painful torment in this transient world and that of the Hereafter; is it the same degree of painful torment in both cases or not? Any ideas? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "They swear by God that they said nothing; but they did utter the word of blasphemy, and they renounced faith after their submission. And they plotted what they could not attain. They were resentful only because God and His Messenger have enriched them out of His grace. If they repent, it would be best for them; but if they turn away, God will afflict them with a painful torment - in this life and in the Hereafter - and they will have on earth no protector and no supporter." (9:74). Thus, they will be tormented in this world and the next, but both types of torment vary in degree and duration. The painful torment in this world is temporary (and might be repeated); it ends suddenly or it ends when the afflicted ones die of it. In contrast, the painful torment of the Hereafter is endless and is never abating; its pain cannot be described in words within any of the human tongue.

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "Among the Desert-Arabs around you there are some hypocrites, and among the inhabitants of the city too. They have become adamant in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will torment them twice; then they will be returned to a severe torment." (9:101); "We will make them taste the lesser torment, prior to the greater torment, so that they may return." (32:21); "Those who reject Our verses - We will burn them in the Hell-Fire. Every time their skins are cooked, We will replace them with other skins, so they will experience the torment. God is Most Powerful, Most Wise." (4:56).

The Taste of Death

Published in September 3, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "Every soul will have a taste of death..." (3:185); yet, what about the Quranic command of never to describe as ''dead'' those who got killed for God's sake while serving His cause? Did their souls taste death or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "Every soul will have a taste of death..." (3:185 + 21:35 + 29:57). Those who got killed for the Lord God's sake while serving His cause are alive in a Barsakh Paradise; they will die shortly before the Day of the Resurrection as per what we infer from the Quranic verse 39:68.

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And do not say of those who are killed in the cause of God, “Dead.” Rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive." (2:154); "Do not consider those killed in the cause of God as dead. In fact, they are alive, at their Lord, well provided for. Delighting in what God has given them out of His grace, and happy for those who have not yet joined them; that they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. They rejoice in grace from God, and bounty, and that God will not waste the reward of the believers." (3:169-171); "And the Trumpet will be sounded, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be stunned, except whomever God wills. Then it will be sounded another time, whereupon they will rise up, looking on." (39:68).

About the Quranic Verse 2:260

Published in September 4, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And when Abraham said, “My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.”..." (2:260); are the (dead) here those who physically or spiritually dead? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

What is meant in 2:260 is physical death; proof: the reviving of slain birds by the Omnipotent Lord God: "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.” He said, “Have you not believed?” He said, “Yes, but to put my heart at ease.” He said, “Take four birds, and incline them to yourself, then place a part on each hill, then call to them; and they will come rushing to you. And know that God is Powerful and Wise.”" (2:260).

About the Quranic Verse 21:4

Published in September 4, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "He said, “My Lord knows what is said in the heaven and the earth; and He is the Hearer, the Knower.”" (21:4); my question is as follows: What is being said in the heaven and by who?! Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

This refers to the Barsakh levels in the heaven and the earth, where angels, jinn, and devils exist and talk; human beings exist in the physical realm of the Planet Earth. The verse 21:4 is about the Omniscience of the Lord God Who knows all deeds and words. Of course, these Barsakh creatures cannot predict the future; this is about the Hour and the destruction of the universe with its physical and metaphysical/Barsakh levels: "But if they turn away, say, “I have informed you sufficiently. Although I do not know whether what you are promised is near or far.” He knows what is said openly, and He knows what you conceal." (21:109-110). This is about the angels and the creation of Adam: "When your Lord said to the angels, “I am placing a successor on earth.” They said, “Will You place in it someone who will cause corruption in it and shed blood, while we declare Your praises and sanctify You?” He said, “I know what you do not know.”And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then he presented them to the angels, and said, “Tell Me the names of these, if you are truthful.” They said, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. It is you who are the Knowledgeable, the Wise.” He said, “O Adam, tell them their names.” And when he told them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?”" (2:30-33).

The Arabic Word (Mus-haf)

Published in September 5, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Arabic word (Mus-haf), which means a copy of the Quran, is never mentioned in the Quranic text; in which era did it emerge, then? … Thank you …

Answer:

This Arabic term emerged once the first copy of the entire Quran written by Muhammad (i.e., in his own handwriting) was recopied several times by other scribes after his death. Of course, this term is never mentioned in the Quran. The Quranic term is (Suhuf) or scrolls.

The Lord God says the following in the Quran about Muhammad and the Quran: "A messenger from God reading purified scrolls." (98:2). This is about Divine Books/Scriptures of other prophets: " Or was he not informed of what is in the scrolls of Moses? And of Abraham, who fulfilled?" (53:36-37); "This is in the former scrolls. The scrolls of Abraham and Moses." (87:18-19); "And they say, “Why does he not bring us a miracle from his Lord?” Were they not given enough miracles in the former scrolls?" (20:133). This is about records/books of deeds of human beings: "When the scrolls are made public." (81:10); "On honorable scrolls." (80:13).
