نص السؤال
What happens to the story of the Sirah of the last prophet (God bless him), now that we know that his Sirah as we have it is based on non-mutawaatir hadeeth (which cannot be trusted)?

The real history of the Prophets is in the Quran. However,Quran does not state all the details because it is not a book for history but for guidance.
The history of the Prophet Mohamed ( Sira ) was narrated orally and verbally as stories from generation to generation until it was written by Mohamed Ibn Ishak who died in 152 after Hijrah in the Abbasid Empire. The Sira written by Ibn Ishak has become the source for all the historians who wrote the Sira after Ibn Ishak. This includes Ibn Hesham and Al Tabari. All these human made Sira contradicts Quran in many details. However, it reflects the culture and the mentality of those who wrote it and how their time looked to the prophet Mohamed after centuries of his death. It has nothing to do with the real personality of the Prophet Mohamed as it is mentioned in the Quran. Also , it has nothing to do with the Islam as a religion because Islam is only Quran and nothing but Quran.
