Applying Penalties on Non-Muslims?!

Published in August 16, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  The Quranic corporeal penalties for thieves and fornicators should never be applied to non-Muslim communities in any given society; right? What is your own opinion?  … Thank you …

Answer:

As for rights of the Lord God, He will judge people's faiths and deeds on the Last Day. As for rights of people/citizens, or human rights, within a Quran-based country, the laws which protect human rights (e.g., the right to live) must be applied equally within justice for all. Potential criminals (e.g., thieves/murderers) must be deterred by seeing that offenders/aggressors and violators are punished. Of course, corporeal penalties are not applied when offenders (i.e., thieves and fornicators and NOT murderers) declare their repentance in public. This does not necessarily mean obtaining he Lord God's pardon on the Last Day; this pardon is linked only to sincere repentance deemed accepted by Him; this true repentance includes making amends, correcting one's faith, and performing many good deeds to atone for the sins committed.

The Sky and the Barsakh

Published in August 17, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  The Lord God has made water descend from the sky and the divine revelation to descend from the Barsakh realm unto the Earth; is there any similarities between the sky and Barsakh? Any ideas?   … Thank you …

Answer:

The sky is the atmosphere above the crust of the Earth: "He who made the earth a habitat for you, and the sky a structure, and sends water down from the sky, and brings out fruits thereby, as a sustenance for you..." (2:22). The Divine Revelation descended from the higher realm of Barsakh (i.e., the metaphysical existence) which is very far above the physical sky; the Lord God says the following about the celestial revelation conveyed by the Lord God through archangel Gabriel (who is a Barsakh, ethereal creature) to all messengers: "And those who believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you..." (2:4). You will find more details about the metaphysical Barsakh levels (which are above the physical universe with its galaxies, stars, etc.) in our book, in English, about Barsakh, found on the following link:

About the Quranic Verse 81:7

Published in August 17, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord Allah says the following in the Holy Quran: "When the souls are paired." (81:7); does this means that there will be mating, marriage, or sex in the Hereafter and human beings will pair off as couples? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

You misunderstand the verse 81:7 which comes in the context of 81:1-14 about the advent of the Hour of destruction of the universe and the Resurrection. The verse 81:7 means that each resurrected soul will be paired/united with its deeds inside either Hell or Paradise. In the Hereafter, souls will wear eternal bodies composed of their deeds. Pairs in this transient, physical world means males and females among all living creatures and means active/passive powers among inanimate creatures/things: "We created all things in pairs, so that you may reflect and ponder." (51:49); "Glory be to Him who created all the pairs; of what the earth produces, and of their own selves, and of what they do not know." (36:36); "He Who created all the pairs..." (43:12); "And that it is He who created the two sexes - the male and the female." (53:45); "And made of him the two sexes, the male and the female?" (75:39).

Yes, of Course

Published in August 19, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … Can I glorify and remember God's Holy Name while urinating and defecating? What is your own view? … Thank you …

Answer:

Yes you can, of course. You can do so anytime anywhere; you should bear in mind that urinating and defecating, even if some people are disgusted by them, are among bounties of the Lord God granted to people; this fact is realized and perceived by those ill people in pain who cannot urinate or suffer constipation. One should be thankful to the Lord God for all bounties, including good health indicated by the ability to defecate and urinate.

About the Quranic Verse 50:16

Published in August 20, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What is meant by the (vein) in this verse: "We created the human being, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are nearer to him than his vein." (50:16)? Is it one of the veins inside human body? Why is mentioned here? … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, it refers to veins inside living human bodies; the veins transport the blood to different body parts; the metaphorical style in 50:16 asserts the fact that the Omniscient and Omnipresent God is nearer to human beings than they could imagine; He is nearer to their souls which control their bodies. "We created the human being, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are nearer to him than his vein. As the two receivers receive, seated to the right and to the left. Not a word does he utter, but there is a watcher by him, ready." (50:16-18); souls belong to the Barsakh realm; the Lord God is nearer to the dying souls than those relatives who gather around a dying person lying in the death-bed: "We are nearer to it than you are, but you do not see." (56:85).

About the Quranic Verses 34:51-53

Published in August 20, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is your own pondering on the Quranic context 34:51-53? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "If you could only see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a nearby place. And they say, “We have believed in it.” But how can they attain it from a distant place? They have rejected it in the past, and made allegations from a far-off place." (34:51-53).

The Hereafter is timeless; Eternity is materialized by the fact that it contains no past, present, and future. It is very hard for the limited human mind to imagine this state of timelessness. We tend to guess that within the Hereafter, place and time will merge; upon Resurrection, human souls will remember their lifetimes on Earth and its time which was always moving ahead; they will realize that the Eternity of the Hereafter is different in terms of time and place; what will seem distant/far is near and vice versa. This will be realized once the Hour of the destruction of the universe comes, followed by the Resurrection in an Eternal Realm. Disbelievers/sinners/losers will be in a state of fright and will be thrown into Hell-Fire in piles like bags of trash; this will not happen to the believers/winners who will enjoy the Eternal Bliss of Paradise. "The Supreme Fear will not worry them, and the angels will receive them: "This is your Day which you were promised."" (21:103); "Whoever brings a virtue will receive better than it - and they will be safe from the horrors of that Day." (27:89); "If you could only see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a nearby place." (34:51); "Those who disbelieve spend their wealth to repel from God's Path. They will spend it, then it will become a source of sorrow for them, and then they will be defeated. Those who disbelieve will be herded into Hell. That God may distinguish the bad from the good, and heap the bad on top of one another, and pile them together, and throw them in Hell. These are the losers." (8:36-37); "Then they will be toppled into it, together with the seducers. And the soldiers of Satan, all of them." (26:94-95).

About the Quranic Verse 7:34

Published in August 21, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the underlined part in this Quranic verse:"For every nation is an appointed time. When their time has come, they cannot delay it by one hour, nor can they advance it." (7:34)? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

It means thatmany people die at the same time but in different locations on Earth; no one can postpone or hasten death. The thousands who die daily are like one nation of dying souls as per what is mentioned in 7:34. The (appointed time) is the predetermined time of death. Of course, 7:34 refers also to the destruction of certain nations; this is explained here: " Say, “I have no power to harm or benefit myself, except as God wills. To every nation is an appointed time. Then, when their time arrives, they can neither postpone it by one hour, nor advance it. Say, “Have you considered? If His punishment overtakes you by night or by day, what part of it will the guilty seek to hasten?” “Then, when it falls, will you believe in it? Now? When before you tried to hasten it?” Then it will be said to those who did wrong, “Taste the torment of eternity. Will you be rewarded except for what you used to do?” And they inquire of you, “Is it true?” Say, “Yes, by my Lord, it is true, and you cannot evade it.”" (10:49-53); "We have never destroyed a town unless it had a set time. No nation can bring its time forward, nor can they delay it." (15:4-5); "If God were to hold mankind for their injustices, He would not leave upon it a single creature, but He postpones them until an appointed time. Then, when their time arrives, they will not delay it by one hour, nor will they advance it." (16:61); "Then, after them, We raised other generations. No nation can advance its time, nor can they postpone it." (23:42-43).

About the Quranic Verse 59:24

Published in August 22, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … Is it OK if I name my newborn son as Abdel-Musawwer? Is Al-Musawwer/Designer one of the Holy Names/Epithets of the Lord God in the Quran? Any ideas? …  Thank you …

Answer:

Yes, it is; and you can give you son this name; we find it mentioned in the last verse of the Quranic Chapter 59: "He is God. There is no god but He, the Knower of secrets and declarations. He is the Dominant, the Merciful. He is God; besides Whom there is no god; the Sovereign, the Holy, the Peace-Giver, the Faith-Giver, the Overseer, the Almighty, the Omnipotent, the Overwhelming. Glory be to God, beyond what they associate. He is God; the Creator, the Maker, the Designer. His are the Most Beautiful Names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him. He is the Majestic, the Wise." (59:22-24). The Lord God has designed/shaped our appearance as souls inside Barsakh before being born into the physical world: "We created you, then We shaped you, then We said to the angels, “Bow down before Adam;” so they bowed down, except for Satan; he was not of those who bowed down." (7:11); " It is He who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god except He, the Almighty, the Wise." (3:6). This particular one of the Lord God's Holy Names is asserted here: "It is God who made the earth a habitat for you, and the sky a structure. And He designed you, and designed you well; and He provided you with the good things. Such is God, your Lord; so Blessed is God, Lord of the Worlds." (40:64); "He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He designed you, and designed you well, and to Him is the final return." (64:3); "O man! What deluded you concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? He Who created you, and formed you, and proportioned you? In whatever shape He willed, He assembled you." (82:6-8).

The Schisms of the Polytheistic Muhammadans

Published in August 22, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … I feel horrified by the amount of lies and falsehoods as well as discrepancies/contradictions shown by you in your writings about the Sunnite religion which opposes the Quran in almost every topic; I'm glad to be one of the Quranists; yet, I feel puzzled about one thing: what are the Quranic facts/topics or issues whose deniers are not deemed as Quranists/monotheists? Would you give me a list of them?  … Thank you …

Answer:

You will find an answer if you continue reading our entire archive of writings on our website; you have to make up your mind regarding such a list. You should bear in mind that the Sunnite Muhammadans never agree on the exact number of hadiths and to which contradictory fiqh views they would side. There is no unanimity at all about anything, and yet, the Muhammadans cling to the laughter-inducing notions of the 'good' ancestors and of 'facts' necessarily known of religion   (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=13951) + (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/show_article.php?main_id=13954) + (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=13948). The Muhammadans have marginalized the Quran and assumed that their mythology (fiqh + hadiths) dominate over it and that the Quranic verses must be understood only through the perspective of such myths. The Muhammadans have no definite, comprehensive list of religious facts; they differ in the criteria of accepting hadiths (their texts and Isnad, or series of narrators); hence, they differ in their sets of terminology within the Shiite, Sufi, and Sunnite religions of Satan. They will remain in continuous schisms; this Quranic verse applies to the polytheistic Muhammadans: "Those who disbelieve are steeped in arrogance and schism." (38:2). Of course, doctrines/orders/sects have mushroomed within the Shiite, Sufi, and Sunnite religions of Satan; their conflicts and civil strife in history made them kill one another in numbers greater than those Muhammadans killed by foreign enemies; Satan and his devils dominate their minds and has made them forget about piety, monotheism, and the Lord God; theyare truly misguided while they assume that they are doing well and that their deeds are good.

Purification from Menstruation

Published in August 23, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … As a Quranist woman, I've recently begun to perform prayers during my period, as per what I've learned in your great website...... But I have a question: how should I clean my vagina after the end of my period? What is inferred about this topic from 2:222-223? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And they ask you about menstruation: say, "It is harmful, so keep away from women during menstruation. And do not approach them until they have become pure. Once they have become pure, approach them in the way God has directed you." God loves the repentant, and He loves those who keep clean." Your women are cultivation for you; so approach your cultivation whenever you like, and send ahead for yourselves. And fear God, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers." (2:222-223).

This Quranic context is entirely about not to have conjugal sex during menstruation; when blood stop flowing, wives can have sex with the husband; that's all. Naturally, no women walk while menstruation blood trickles down her clothes; they make sure this does not happen by wearing towels over their private parts; the same applies when you pray during your period. You do not need instructions about cleaning your genitalia; such instructions are not found in the Quran, anyway. As for purification with water after the period ends, there is no need for extra or special measures at all; purification in Islamic sharia laws is based on ease/facilitation and removing burdens: " O you who believe! When you rise to pray, wash your faces and your hands and arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and your feet to the ankles. If you had intercourse, then purify yourselves. If you are ill, or travelling, or one of you returns from the toilet, or you had sexual contact with women, and could not find water, then use some clean surface and wipe your faces and hands with it. God does not intend to burden you, but He intends to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you, that you may be thankful." (5:6). Disobedient Persons within the Quranic Perspective

Published in August 23, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … I've lived the last 40 years of my life with the worst of husbands: he is stingy, egoist, arrogant, irritable, and foul-mouthed; he hates charity; he hates to be kind or to offer kind, soothing words; I, his wife, and our daughters suffer very much because of him. He made me leave my good job when we got married, though I have a university degree, and I dedicated my life to him and to our daughters; I brought them up very well; I've been very chaste and honest; I kept his house very well; yet, his misdeeds and misconduct still gets on my nerves; I can't justify his violent behavior and aggressive ways anymore; the matter worsened when my husband has been diagnosed with the heart disease; at first, when he was hospitalized in the ICU, he kept apologizing for me and for his daughters for his harshness and mistreatment, while weeping; he was kind and gentle with all of us when he returned home – for a few weeks only. Once he got a little better by adhering to an extreme diet, his loud voice, harshness, and quarreling returned with a vengeance! It's as if he'd made sure he won't be dying anytime soon! ... I sometimes wish inwardly that he'd die very soon! I think he's a hopeless case; he will never change to the better; my life with him is nothing but sorrow, anxiety, and fear. Upon his discovery if I donated any money – or anything – for charity, he would quarrel with me and insult me! I never love him now; I have no good memories of any good moments with him under his roof. Are my feelings sinful?! Am I a wicked woman who wish her husband's death?! I've stayed with him under one roof only because of my daughters. I tend to think that when he dies, I'll have no tears for his departure; otherwise, people would think I were a hypocrite! Am I a disobedient wife because these are my true sentiments towards my husband?  …  Thank you …

Answer:

You husband is a disobedient person who loves, and is addicted to, disobedience; the following Quranic descriptions of disobedient human beings apply to him: "Man was created restless. Touched by adversity, he is fretful. Touched by good, he is ungenerous. Except the prayerful...And those in whose wealth is a rightful share. For the beggar and the deprived. And those who believe in the Day of Judgment." (70:19-26); "In fact, man oversteps all bounds. When he considers himself lacking nothing." (96:6-7); "...Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the Remembrance of God. Those are in manifest misguidance." (39:22). In contrast, you are a very good wife who adheres to patience. You should stop thinking about devilish Wahabi/Salafist/Sunnite notions which urge wives to deify and obey blindly their husbands. You bear such suffering patiently and for a long time; the remaining years within the lifetime of your bad husband will not be many, we presume; we propose that you go on adhering to patience until he dies within sickness in his heart/soul and within his physical ailment. We think that the Lord God will reward you for your patience.

About the Sinful Caliph Abou Bakr

Published in August 24, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir,  … Having watched your videos and read your writings, I find myself agree with most of your ideas and disagree with the rest of them.......What is most hateful to me is your acerbic sarcasm, attack, and criticism of the 4 wise pre-Umayyad caliphs, especially your calling them (sinful). You insist on saying, in your videos, the "sinful" caliph Abou Bakr; this insult and other words of sarcasm you employ in your YouTube videos make most people (who have not read your books and articles) hate you though you are keen on urging them to guide themselves with the Light of the Quranic Truth. You should stop employing sarcasm so that people would be encouraged to visit your website........... … Thank you …

Answer:

It is OK that we and you differ in our views regarding any religious topic; each person should make choices and adopt stances within freedom while bearing full responsibility on the Day of Judgment for these choices/stances. The four sinful pre-Umayyad caliphs, especially Abou Bakr, were never wise or guided; they were sinful men who rejected the Quran once Muhammad died. This is shown clearly in the heinous crimes they committed within the Arab conquests; Abou Bakr is the first man to initiate such grave injustices which contradict the Quran; this means he is an enemy of the Lord God and a hater of the Quran. The injustices of Abou Bakr made thousands of victims lose their lives, their stretches of land, their possessions, their women and children,...etc. The other sinful pre-Umayyad, Umayyad, Abbasid, Fatimid...etc. caliphs followed his footsteps and millions of victims suffered a lot. Hence, all of them are sinful, immoral caliphs: from Abou Bakr of Qorayish to Abou Bakr Al-Baghdadi of the Wahabi ISIS terrorist organization. Their injustices are not only against human beings but also against the Lord God Himself and His Religion, since they have ascribed their crimes to the name of Islam. True Islam; i.e., Quranism, is the religion of mercy, justice, peace, and charity. By the way, as a historian and a Muslim Quranist thinker, we have the right to judge the atrocities of the sinful caliph Abou Bakr and his likes using the Quran as the Criterion. We have the right to defend Islam and to clear its name from the heinous crimes of such sinful rulers. A true Muslim must defend the Lord God and His Religion; this is an incontestable, undeniable holy Islamic duty, a mission undertaken by our person and we will never cease to assert and remind people of the Quranic and historical facts in order to urge them to introduce the much-needed religious reform. In fact, you are angry with our person because you still deify and sanctify Abou Bakr, Omar, Othman, Ali, Hussein, etc. like most of the Muhammadans. Such names are never holy; they are never part of Islam; they are part of history; they are mere names of historical figures deified by polytheists. Joseph is quoted in the Quran saying the following: "You do not worship, besides Him, except names you have named, you and your ancestors, for which God has sent down no authority..." (12:40). The polytheistic Muhammadans feel shocked and horrified when their gods/deities are described by words they deserve: these gods/caliphs are criminals, murderers, and thieves. The polytheists never use their minds because Satan and his devils blinded their eyes/souls and misguided their hearts. The Lord God never accepts deifying Jesus who was born without a biological father; likewise, He will never accept deifying men and women born as a result of sexual relations. The Lord God never accepts that His worshipers deify any of his (non-)human creatures; as a Muslim/monotheist, you cannot deify the names of persons (prophets and non-prophets) mentioned in the Quran, let alone the so-called caliphs whose names are not mentioned in the Quran.

God's Punishment in This World

Published in August 24, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I write this confession to you so that readers would take heed and draw useful lessons. Now, I am over 60 years old, retired, and very ill; I've lost my power/authority and my wealth; I experienced humiliation from my only daughter who has been spoiled, corrupted, and pampered by me. I brought her up as per my own character: I taught her haughtiness, selfishness, and arrogance; I never refused any of her requests; because of her, I've committed grave injustices against her noble husband and his mother and folks; I forced him to divorce her when she asked me to do so; I forced him to give up most of his money to her, while I know that my daughter is the unjust party; I was blind; I cared only about pleasing my daughter. She got rid of her husband by divorce after she confiscated all his money, with my help and authority, through manipulation, fraud, and swindling. She kept demanding that I leave my wealth to her during my lifetime; and I did so; when she began dating men and having illicit sex with them, I protested against such manners; she insulted me mercilessly and drove me out of my villa; no, I mean her villa which I gave to her! I tasted my own bitter medicine; it was I who helped her drive her husband and his mother from his apartment. I live now in a two-chamber house in a low-class district, and my pension of retirement barely covers the expenses of rent, medicaments, and food; I live in misery and humiliation; no one among whom I helped and promoted when I had my power/authority helps me; they never ask about me or visit me. The only noble person who visits me and cares for me is my daughter's ex-husband; I feel very ashamed of myself because I caused him harm; he helps me now with his money......... I write this confession to you because your Quranist peaching needs writing about life experiences of others, esp. repentant sinners like me, so that people may take heed and draw useful lessons  … Thank you …

Answer:

We hope very much that your repentance is sincere and done within piety and fear of the Lord God. We hope that He will accept your repentance and that you will earn His pardon. You should ask pardon from people wronged by your former injustices, especially the noble man who is the ex-husband of your daughter. Your story and experience – after deletion of some lines by ourselves so that your name, rank, position, and location would not be known – will make readers heed the lesson: those blinded by power/authority and wealth forget that worldly possessions are transient; only the good deeds within monotheism will benefit one in the Hereafter; it is a very good thing to repent as soon as possible before one dies.

Menstruation, Again!

Published in August 25, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm the same woman who sent you the question about purification from menstruation on the 23rd of August, 2019, and I'm grateful for your taking time to answer me, but be patient with me and I have to trespass longer on our time: my question is about if the blood of my period is impure or not as per Islam and if I can pray while wearing the towels. What about the expression (become pure) in 2:222? What is meant by it? is this linked to complete ablution (i.e., showering or taking a bath)? when I pray while having my period, am I to perform ablution for each prayers or can I perform two prayers with one ablution? I desire proofs from the Quran ........ Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

As we have mentioned in our YouTube episodes about purification, the aggressive polytheists are deemed (impure) in the Quran in the figurative and not the literal sense; this is the only time when the word (impure) is mentioned in the Quranic text. Nothing is impure about the human body and things which get out of it; men and women pray while carrying inside their bodies urine and feces; women can pray while carrying blood of their periods and even when it gets out of their bodies; of course, vomiting, sweat, and farts are not impure things, either. The human body is not impure at all. Ease/facilitation is required when cleaning/purifying the body before prayers; it is OK to wear a towel to prevent the trickling of the blood of the period during prayers. You should perform ablution for every one of the five prayers. What matters most is to adhere to piety and reverence within concentration during prayers; this is more important than being obsessed with physical cleanliness (e.g., see our article, in English, found on this link:     http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=19846). We advise you to read our writings and watch our videos before posing repeated questions; this way, you will help us save our effort and time.

Enthroned Tyrants Are Like Jack-Asses!

Published in August 25, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … Enthroned tyrants who steal the wealth of their nations and smuggle US$ billions abroad will be punished in Hell in the Hereafter; yet, what about their penalty in this world since their money could bring protection and luxury for themselves and their children?! … Thank you …

Answer:

Enthroned tyrants assume wrongly that US$ billions or wealth in general will protect them and this drives them to steal as much money from their nations as possible; they assume wrongly that they own such ill-gotten wealth; in fact, they are owned, controlled, and tormented by this wealth; during their lifetimes when they are in power, they fear potential or real intrigues, plots, and conspiracies to overthrow them; they have no time to enjoy spending their ill-gotten wealth; they live in constant anxiety, insomnia, and restlessness; when they are ousted, they cannot retrieve the money they smuggled to the West and to the East; those who control their money confiscate it and may assassinate them. Tyrants die without repentance and without enjoying their lives and their fate in Hell is inevitable; their children might enjoy part of the ill-gotten wealth but they are punished in this world and will join sinners in Hell if they would not repent and make amends by returning such money to the rightful owners: the nations. You should contemplate the fate of Mubarak and Kaddafi. We say that enthroned tyrants are like jack-asses who lose this world and the Hereafter for nothing; if they had reasonable minds, they would not have entrapped themselves in such a loss: the grave loss within this world and the graver, eternal loss in the Hereafter.
