TRANSLITERATION AND TRANSLATION OF VERSES 255 & 256 OF THE COW CHAPTER
Following on my initial proposed project on February 10, 2014 to transliterate and translate the Holy Quran for the benefit of non readers of Arabic ( see details in: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/show_article.php?main_id=11724.) I am proposing presently the transliteration and the translation into English and Berber Taclh’it of the Verse Al Kursi(Chapter The Cow:255)and the following Verse 256 of the same chapter.
The Alkursi verse has a special significance for Muslims who value its use in all kinds of occasions including framing it and displaying it at homes and offices and carrying it on their person for protection against spirits and evil eye. Verse 256 has not had the same interest for many Muslims even though it is very significant in the sense that it specifically spelled out the banning of any violence in Islam and its creed, though several other verses of the Quran also specifically forbid any compulsion in terms of faith and therefore trying to force people to become Muslims has no room in the message of Islam. Consequently what is called Islamic terrorism is completely alien to the religion of Islam and the groups endorsing it are just terrorists pure and simple and are completely ignorant of the divine message. No individual or group has any authority to force anyone to believe or adhere to their view or interpretation and practice of Islam. The Quran recognizes the absolute freedom of individuals to believe or not to believe فَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ (the cave:21). The judge in this matter s God alone.
I take the liberty of reproducing the transliteration key for the benefit of those who are not yet familiar with the characters proposed.
