REMINDER, plus Social Justice Tithing Initiative by high school students to promote our Capital Home

Attached is a flyer developed by students at Mission Viejo High School, California about 60 miles South of Los Angeles.  Please put in in the hands of Rep. Pittman before our conference call today at 5:30 pm Oklahoma City time, 6:30 pm Eastern time.

In the humanities course offered by the school, the teachers challenged all students to organize a mock election campaign and debates for President and Vice President of the United States in 2012.  To compete with the candidates of the Democratic Party, Republican Party, the Green Party and the Libertarian Party, about 30 students organized on the theme that America needs a "revolution of ideas" to unite all Americans.  They googled and discovered the website at http://www.americanrevolutionaryparty.us/party platform and decided to call themselves the American Revolutionary Party.  They contacted me and I have been in steady contact with me for the last 3 weeks or so.  This Friday morning they have arranged for me, with the consent of their teachers, to have a 50-minute teleconference with all 90 students in their class.  Note that these kids "borrowed" my name and that of Rep. Pittman as their candidates for the campaign; I hope she won't mind, just as I don't mind.  Having seen how well they have organized, I think that the ARP candidates will be big winners.

I'm as excited as these students are to spread the message of the Just Third Way and Capital Homestead Act systemic reforms for connecting all citizens to personal stakes of ownership of land, natural resources, advanced technologies and worker-owned companies like Equitech and E-Macrosystem projects like those being planned in East St. Louis, Oklahoma City and Georgia.  These new leaders are becoming committed to Bucky Fuller's vision of how to "make the world work for 100% of humanity in the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation and without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone."  A superintendent of schools in two districts of rural Washington State who is totally committed to our Just Third Way wants to replicate such a mock election and debates among his students.  Maybe Rep. Pittman will promote such an initiative among high school and college students in Oklahoma City.  I think this can spread like wildfire throughout the 50 states, so that the kingpins in our nation's capitol will hear the message from the grassroots, get behind our Capital Homesteading Act and give citizens land cooperatives the same kinds of tax and financing incentives that are now available to propertyless workers through leveraged ESOPs.

Looking forward to tonight's teleconference,

Norm Kurland
