The Sheikh of AL-Azhar: The Quranists are people who lost their sight!

Dr. Moahmed Hassan Tantawy (The SHeikh of AL-Azhar) described the Quranists as "people who lost their sight," implying that 90% of their prayers are taken from the Sunna, and calling on all Muslim not to follow their lies.
In Friday Prayers in Qalieubiah district, Dr. Tantawy stated that the new mission of Al-Azhar Sheikhs should to be to stress out the danger of female genital mutilation, especially after the medical and legislative evidences proved its’ negative effect on women. Dr. Tantawy expressed that the goal of such a campaign is to convince the people to stop such tradition that is not even practiced in many Arab or Islamic states.
