((Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, the scriptures of Abraham and Moses.)) The noble Quran, The end of chapter 87

• The name of Mohammed’s father was Abdullah (the slave of GOD) and it is known that the father of Mohammed was ummi.

• Meccians knew that Mohammed was telling the truth but they preferred money.

Al-Ummiyya was the religion that one of its rituals was the five daily prayers but the prayer in it was corrupted so Mohammed came to fix this corruption. It was the religion that one of its rituals was the pilgrimage in Mecca but the followers of that religion corrupted that ritual by filling Mecca with statues around the house of GOD, so Mohammed came to fix that corruption. The ummiyyon used to pray in mosques but it was a corrupted prayer: ((And that the mosques are GOD's, therefore call not upon any one with GOD, and that when the servant of GOD stood up calling upon HIM, they well-nigh crowded him (to death). Say: I only call upon my LORD, and I do not associate any one with HIM.)) The noble Quran, Chapter 72, Verses 18-19-20

That means that Mohammed (PBUH) brought back the rituals of Abraham (Mullat Ibrahim) such as the qibla, pilgrimage in Mecca…etc, after fixing all the corruption.

And Mohammed (PBUH) used to say that Abraham was not a polytheist and this is surely to make it clear to them that the religion of Abraham became corrupted:

((Surely Abraham was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists.)) The noble Quran, Chapter 16, verse 120

((Say: Allah has spoken the truth, therefore follow the religion of Ibrahim, the upright one; and he was not one of the polytheists.)) The noble Quran, Chapter 3, Verse 95

And as it seems, the people of the book asked Mohammed about Abraham and why should they follow his rituals and so the answer came:

((followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Abraham, when the Torah and the Bible were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?)) The noble Quran, Chapter 3, Verse 65

So what about Jesus (PBUH) –for example- was he a Muslim?

Yes surely he was a Muslim and never a polytheist but he wasn’t following the rituals of Abraham (Mullat Ibrahim). For example he didn’t order his followers to do pilgrimage in Mecca and maybe he was teaching them slightly different rituals than those of Abraham but surely he was a Muslim.

What I want to say at the end is that Mohammed (PBUH) brought back the rituals of Abraham, fixed them from corruption and made the religion of GOD Islam.

So was Mohammed able to read and write???

This I leave for discussion. But according to me I think Mohammed (PBUH) wrote the Quran himself:

((And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening.)) The noble Quran, chapter 25, Verse 5

Even the narrations itself says that Mohammed was able to read and write:

• Narrated by Aysha: She said: The Messenger of GOD said to Abdul Rahman Ibn Abi Bakr: Give me a post to write to Abu Bakr a book that no one will dispute upon. (Al-Sira Ibn Katheer 452/1)

• According to Bukhari 4078/4079 The Messenger of GOD said : Let me write a book to you which you will never mislead after.

• According to Ibn Sayyed El-naas 164/2 : The prophet orders Ali to erase Messenger of GOD but Ali refuses saying : ((I swear by GOD I will never erase you)) so Mohammed carries the paper, erase Messenger of GOD and write with his own handwriting ((Mohammed Ibn Abdullah)).

• Narrated by Zayd Ibn Sabet He said: The messenger of GOD said: If you write Bismillahi El Rahman EL Raheem, Make the seen (one letter of the Arabic alphabet) appear clearly.

And there are so many other narrations…………….

Let’s discuss.
